Timing Belts
A timing belt is a thick belt that works to synchronise the motion of an engine’s camshaft and crankshaft. Should the ‘timing’ of the movement of the camshaft and crankshaft be incorrect then colossal damage to the engine can occur. Your timing belt should be replaced as per the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule.

No, any qualified Mechanic can carry out servicing or repairs on your vehicle without voiding warranty. However, you will need to take your vehicle back to a Dealership for any warranty items or recalls.
