Kedron Car Electrics & Air-Conditioning was established in 1966 and have over 50 years’ experience. We specialise in auto electrical diagnostics and repairs, air-conditioning, log book servicing and mechanical repairs.

We are currently seeking an experienced qualified Auto Electrician to join our team. This will be a permanent full-time position after probation.

Qualifications & Experience – Mandatory

• Certificate III Automotive Electrical Technology
• Refrigerant Handling Licence
• Demonstrated problem solving & diagnosis skills
• Sound knowledge of Workshop practices and WHS standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Must have a manual Australian Driver’s License
• Hand tools required

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily workshop operational tasks
• Accurate diagnosis of vehicles
• Fault finding and repairs
• Air-conditioning diagnostics and repairs
• General auto electrical work
• Perform repairs and tasks in a timely manner
• Communicate with customers regarding their concerns
• Have a good understanding and be skilled in the use of scan tools and workshop equipment
• Quote and invoice jobs
• Work as part of a team
• Take pride in your work

We are currently seeking a qualified and highly motivated mechanic to join our team. This will be a permanent full-time position after probation.

Qualifications & Experience – Mandatory

• Cert III in Light Vehicle Automotive or equivalent
• Demonstrated problem solving & diagnosis skills
• Sound knowledge of Workshop practices and WHS standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Must have a manual Australian Driver’s License
• Hand tools required

Qualifications – Preferred but not essential

• Air Conditioning License
• Auto-Electrical Experience

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Able to work independently
• Diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Repair and service most vehicles including 4WD vehicles
• General mechanical repairs including brake, clutch, engine, steering, suspension & timing belt replacement
• Have a good understanding and be skilled in the use of scan tools and workshop equipment
• Quote and invoice jobs
• Work as part of a team
• Take pride in your work
